so The Drums opened for Florence.
they were pretty great.
the highlight was definitely the guitarist doing some sort of interpretive dance with his tambourine.
closely followed by Let's Go Surfing.

they took pretty pictures so i didn't have to.

which is definitely my current favourite blog.

this time last year zoe had posted juliette hogan's recipe for gingerbread loaf.

YUM. it is amazing.
and especially good as a cake with chopped dates in it,
still warm, with homemade caramel sauce drizzled over it.

pilot issue four is out. finally.
i rather liked the wee section at the end called 'these are our friends'.

kinda like NO magazine (which i also bought recently). a little too much alike?

maybe its just the effects of winter, but these people make me realise that my holidays have been terribly unproductive and that i definitely need a project.


i should also:
read more.
listen to more music.
make a dress from that fabric sitting in my room.
scan and print my negatives.
take more photos.
draw and paint.
learn to use photoshop/illustrator/indesign/aftereffects/flash/3dsmax a whole lot better than i do now.
improve rather than forget my spanish skills.
and make use of that sailing course i took last year.
