wishing it were summer. first edition.

it is officially the twelfth day of winter.
i wish it were summer.
already.
its not even july yet.
i feel it is appropriate at this point to post some sort of series of summery stuff,
in an attempt to make myself feel better. but lets be honest, i will feel worse.
it will also give me a chance to upload some photos that will otherwise never make it on here.

summer equals taking over the family holiday house in cromwell. its dreamy.
last summer i also took over the neighbours cat. i named him 'kitty'. he loved it.

summer is actually quite wierd.
pretty much the only time i venture back to the south island.
pretty much the only time i hang out with the girls i went to high school with.
this year we went camping at kaka point for new years.
we also stayed a night at libby's in tautuku
and went to the beach,
where my digital camera unfortunately experienced death by sand,
and we ran around like idiots infront of the southern lights.

and finally summer equals cherries. thousands and thousands of cherries.
to be honest i probably should have saved these two for a seperate post on the wonders of being a cherry sorter
especially as there are zero cherries in them.
but only one of my summer films are in b+w so you're just going to have to deal.
these were taken at potluck up at the orchard camp one night.
